Five Reasons to Buy Sid Meier's Civilization VI Anthology

One of the best 4X strategies of recent years has received the most complete edition. We tell you what will please the Anthology and why you should buy it right now.

THIS IS THE GOOD OLD "CIVILIZATION"
Sid Meier's Civilization VI is a highly acclaimed 4X strategy friv game that, even five years after its release, remains just as exciting and never gets bored. This is the case when, having decided "one more move - and sleep" you wake up in the morning over a huge empire, where you still need to do a lot of things - teach a presumptuous neighbor a lesson, spread religion to the entire continent, win the space race, win the loyalty of surrounding cities -states, discover all the wonders of nature and so on.

Here is a strategy in which only you determine your path. Engage in cultural expansion, nurture the best thinkers within the walls of universities, and finally conquer the world with fire and sword! At your disposal - a large selection of historical leaders with unique bonuses, units and civilizational features.

THERE IS A LOT OF CONTENT HERE
From its release to the present day, Civilization VI has received regular updates and additions that have added new civilizations and leaders, maps, modes, and gameplay mechanics to the friv game that completely reshape the gaming experience. Everything that has been released since then has been included in Sid Meier's Civilization VI Anthology.

First of all, these are large-scale DLCs:

Rise and Fall introduces the Great Ages mechanic, where players' civilizations experience ups and downs, from the Dark Ages, where survival becomes overwhelming, to the Golden and Heroic Ages, where empires prosper. Governors, new diplomatic options, wonders of the world, buildings and other innovations appear in the same addition.
Gathering Storm focuses on the theme of ecology and climate. Natural disasters and natural phenomena appear here, and the activity of civilizations affects nature: for example, thermal power plants generate emissions into the atmosphere, which lead to global warming and flooding of coastal areas. In addition, leaders can now call a World Congress, and players get new conditions for a diplomatic victory.

The New Frontier Pass has been adding new nations and leaders, units, buildings, wonders, and more over the course of several months. But much more interesting are the special modes that appear in Civilization VI with this addition. For example, secret societies that bring unexpected bonuses to the gameplay - up to the appearance of vampires ! Or the Apocalypse mode, where civilizations are under constant threat. There are even zombies here!
Also, smaller content packs came to the strategy, with which new peoples, rulers, maps and scenarios appeared. In fact, Civilization VI in 2016 and Civilization VI now are two completely different games.

Not too long ago, Kevin Schultz, Associate Producer of Civilization VI, commented that the anthology is the "final experience" for players. It is unlikely that this could be anything other than a direct hint at the end of work on the project - most likely, Friv2Online has already thrown all its efforts into a new game, and this could be Civilization VII or any other title.

However, the next part of the series will be released very soon, which means that now is the time to dive into the full version of the grand strategy and get absolutely everything that it has to offer. If you, like me, are the type of player who prefers to wait until all the expansions for the game are released so as not to miss a drop of content, then Sid Meier's Civilization VI Anthology is exactly what you need.

Buying the original friv game and then separately purchasing add-ons and content packs is, frankly, not the best idea. You will pay two thousand rubles for Civilization VI, from one and a half to two thousand for each of the major additions, and a few hundred more will go for each pack with civilizations. It is better not to even calculate how much all this will cost you.

In turn, Sid Meier's Civilization VI Anthology can be bought right now for a little over two thousand rubles - at the price of a base game! A very good price for everything that was released during the period of nearly five years of support for the project. But hurry - the special price is valid for a limited period of time.

MULTIPLAYER AND MODS
And if you want to further expand your gaming experience, you can go to the multiplayer modes of Civilization VI, of which there are many - for example, there is its own "battle royale", many scenarios designed for fast and long play, and, of course, the ability to carefully customize user matches.

At the same time, the official support of the Steam Workshop will add tens and hundreds more hours of gameplay. Mods change the AI in the friv game, add new modes, factions, districts, replace building and unit models, make changes to the interface, and so on. You can download modifications, as well as delete them, with a couple of clicks, and convenient sorting will allow you to choose those that best suit you.

Sid Meier's Civilization VI Anthology is now available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will be released on consoles later this year.
